Job summary

IMC Trading is seeking a Senior Sourcing Lead – Storage & SaaS to join the Global Procurement team. You will own global storage and SaaS category strategies, drive cost optimization, and govern vendor relationships across 70+ vendors.

The role partners with storage engineering, security, and finance to optimize renewals, licensing, and total cost of ownership, while coaching sourcing managers and aligning procurement with business priorities.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in strategic sourcing or vendor management spanning infra and enterprise software.
• Direct experience procuring storage at scale (software-defined storage or hardware).
• Proven track record managing a large SaaS portfolio: renewals, multi-year entitlements, license optimization and vendor consolidation.
• Familiarity with AI software pricing models (token/usage-based, seat-plus-consumption).
• Experience leading technical POCs and vendor evaluations alongside engineering teams.
• Strong analytical and financial modeling skills.

Responsibilities

• Own and execute the global storage category strategy across storage tiers.
• Own and execute the global SaaS category strategy: renewals, license optimization, and vendor consolidation.
• Lead negotiations for high-value agreements: storage software rate cards, multi-year licenses, and enterprise SaaS contracts.
• Drive FinOps-style governance across consumption- and usage-based software spend.
• Build and strengthen vendor relationships with storage providers, OEMs, SaaS and AI vendors.
• Partner with storage engineering, security, and finance on architecture, risk, and business cases.
• Monitor market trends to identify savings and risk proactively.
• Provide coaching to sourcing managers and buyers on category execution.
