Job summary

SHINE Systems is seeking a Space Auditor to support the FLS Space Management Team in maintaining accurate facility data, occupancy, and utilization. You will work with Directorate and Office Space Coordinators, Site Chiefs, Building Managers, and government personnel to allocate space and ensure compliance.

The role involves audits, occupancy validation, floor plan updates, and using ARCHIBUS, AutoCAD, and Revit.

Qualifications

• Active TS/SCI clearance with CI Polygraph.
• Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Interior Design, Facilities Management, Engineering, Planning, or related field with 6+ years of experience or 10+ years in lieu of a degree.
• Proficiency with ARCHIBUS or a comparable Computer-Aided Facility Management system.
• Proficiency with AutoCAD and Revit for reviewing, developing, or updating facility floor plans and space layouts.
• Experience conducting space audits, facility assessments, occupancy validations, or personnel bed-down reviews.
• Ability to travel domestically and internationally.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills and stakeholder coordination.

Responsibilities

• Support the FLS Space Management Team in maintaining accurate space, occupancy, and utilization data.
• Coordinate with Directorate and Office Space Coordinators, Site Chiefs, Building Managers, and other stakeholders.
• Gather and analyze space and occupancy requirements.
• Conduct facility walks to validate conditions and seating assignments.
• Perform field measurements and verify room dimensions and layouts.
• Update floor plans and seating allocations based on audit findings.
• Resolve discrepancies in space planning and occupancy across facilities.
• Develop and revise space layouts using AutoCAD and Revit.
• Read architectural drawings and facility documentation to maintain records.
• Utilize ARCHIBUS to update records and generate utilization reports.
• Assist government personnel in space planning needs and reporting.
• Support strategic space planning initiatives and 1450/1450-1 accountability considerations.
• Assemble and analyze building usage data for planning and compliance.
• Prepare written reports and presentations for senior leadership.
• Lead internal and stakeholder meetings when applicable.
• Manage multiple projects with competing priorities, including worldwide audits.
