Job summary

Qualifications

• 3+ years' experience in space, workplace, interior, facilities planning, or related discipline.
• Strong knowledge of office planning, furniture systems, workstation configurations, occupancy.
• Ability to develop test fits, blocking/stacking plans, furniture layouts, floor plans, and move/restack plans.

Responsibilities

• Translate strategy, headcount forecasts, and business requirements into test fits and seating layouts.
• Evaluate configurations to improve utilization, density, and operational efficiency.
• Support long-range planning for growth, relocations, and portfolio optimization.
• Coordinate with architects, vendors, Facilities, IT, and service partners on planning solutions.
• Review inventories and planning docs to identify reuse or cost-saving opportunities.
• Maintain alignment with standards, space entitlements, accessibility, and real estate objectives.
• Develop executable move/restack plans for relocations and phased moves.
• Convert seating strategies into move plans with sequencing and swing-space needs.
• Coordinate with Workplace Planning & Operations to support arrivals, departures, and transitions.
• Identify conflicts before implementation and resolve space, furniture, or building constraints.
• Align floor plans with occupancy records, IWMS data, and field conditions.
• Validate plans post-move and support capacity audits and portfolio decisions.
• Provide backup coverage for urgent seating changes and move coordination as needed.
