Job summary

Knowles is seeking a Global Procurement Director to lead a worldwide direct-material sourcing organization spanning North America, Mexico, and Asia. This executive role focuses on continuity of supply, total-cost optimization, supplier performance, and strategic partnerships to enable growth and new product introductions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required in a related field.
• MBA or advanced degree preferred.
• 12+ years in procurement or supply chain within a manufacturing environment.
• 5+ years leading global procurement or category management.
• Willing to travel 10–15% domestically and internationally.
• On-site presence required.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic leadership for a global procurement organization.
• Develop global sourcing strategies for direct materials.
• Establish KPIs and talent development aligned with priorities.
• Lead supplier relationship management and executive governance.
• Lead long-term supply agreements and cost-reduction initiatives.
• Manage supply continuity and risk including diversification.
• Oversee procurement KPI measurement and reporting.
