Job summary

Knowles, a leading manufacturer of specialty electronic components, seeks a Global Procurement Director to lead direct material sourcing across North America, Mexico, and Asia. You will oversee global category managers and a manufacturing purchasing team to ensure continuity of supply, cost optimization, and supplier excellence.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required; MBA or advanced degree preferred.
• Minimum of 12 years of progressive procurement/supply chain experience in manufacturing.
• Minimum of 5 years in global procurement or category management leadership.
• Proven success negotiating complex global supply agreements; capable of leading cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic leadership for a global procurement organization across direct materials.
• Develop and execute global sourcing strategies and supplier relationships.
• Lead complex commercial negotiations including long-term supply agreements and pricing.
• Oversee supplier performance, risk management, and continuity of supply.

Education

Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Engineering, Business Administration, Operations Management, or related field
