Job summary

Knowles Corporation is seeking a Global Procurement Director to lead the development and execution of the direct materials sourcing strategy across North America, Mexico, and Asia. This executive role oversees a global procurement organization and partners with operations, engineering, quality, finance, R&D, and product management to ensure supply continuity and optimal total cost of ownership.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Engineering, or related field.
• MBA or other advanced degree preferred.
• 12+ years in procurement, strategic sourcing, or supply chain in manufacturing.
• 5+ years leading global procurement or category teams.
• Experience managing direct material categories in industrial sectors.
• Proven success negotiating and managing complex global supply agreements.
• Willingness to travel domestically and internationally (10–15%).
• On-site presence required.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic leadership for a global procurement organization of direct materials.
• Develop global sourcing strategies and category plans for direct materials.
• Lead supplier relationship management and executive governance.
• Negotiate long-term supply agreements and terms.
• Ensure continuity of supply, cost optimization, and risk management.
• Collaborate with Operations, Quality, Finance, R&D, and Product Management.
• Drive cost reductions, KPI tracking, and supplier performance reviews.
