Job summary

Danfoss Power Solutions (US) is seeking a senior-level sourcing professional to optimize direct materials and services for electrical motors and controllers. You will lead strategic sourcing initiatives, negotiate supplier agreements, and act as the primary liaison for vendor issues across Supply Chain, Quality, and Plant Operations.

A PDP-driven, cross-functional approach is required. With 8+ years in sourcing and 6+ years in SAP MM, Teamcenter PLM, and PPAP, you will influence cost, quality,

Qualifications

• 8+ years in supply chain or strategic sourcing including mechanical/electronic categories.
• 6+ years with PDP stage gate product development and GD&T for mechanical/electrical components.
• 6+ years with SAP MM and Teamcenter PLM systems.
• 6+ years with PPAP following IATF 16949 automotive standards.

Responsibilities

• Lead strategic sourcing initiatives for direct materials and services.
• Escalation point for vendor issues affecting supply chain, quality, and plant operations.
• Negotiate supplier agreements and manage supplier search/qualification.
• Drive spend analysis and TCO/target cost development.
• Collaborate cross-functionally on end-to-end projects with external suppliers.
• Support PPAP activities and maintain contract information in systems.
