Job summary

Stratasys in the United States is seeking a Manager, Direct Commodity to lead the global sourcing of direct materials, including electrical, mechanical and electromechanical commodities. You will set multi-year sourcing strategy, drive should-cost initiatives, and manage LTAs, while developing a high-performing team and reporting results to senior leadership.

Partnering with Engineering, Operations, Quality, and Finance, you will ensure uninterrupted supply in line with roadmaps and business

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, or Business required.
• 8+ years in procurement, strategic sourcing, or direct-spend management.
• 2+ years in people leadership, developing talent.
• Proven track record in negotiations, cost savings, and executive briefings; strong ERP/MRP (SAP/Oracle) and Excel skills.

Responsibilities

• Set multi-year direct spend sourcing strategy and cost leadership targets.
• Lead a team of Commodity Managers; manage performance and career development.
• Own supplier relationships, executive reviews, and risk mitigation across direct commodities.
• Collaborate with Engineering, Quality, Operations, and Finance to ensure uninterrupted supply.
