Job summary

Danfoss Drives in Loves Park, IL is seeking a Senior Manager, Supplier Operations Management to lead a global team focused on ensuring material availability, supplier performance, and operational excellence in power conversion technologies.

You will collaborate with suppliers, engineering, manufacturing, and global stakeholders to drive continuous improvement, strengthen supplier collaboration, and develop a high-performing team in a dynamic environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain or related field with procurement or supply chain experience.
• Proven people leadership experience with a track record of building engaged teams and coaching talent.
• Strong understanding of material flow management, supplier operations, ERP systems, and SAP in manufacturing.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management across a global matrix organization.
• Fluent English and ability to manage changing priorities while driving results.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop a team of Supplier Operations Specialists, fostering an inclusive, high-performing culture.
• Drive execution of the Supplier Operations strategy to improve material availability and inbound flow.
• Partner with suppliers to boost delivery, lead times, quality, and logistics optimization.
• Collaborate with engineering, manufacturing, and sourcing on design changes and ramp-down/up activities.
• Ensure effective use of SAP, PLM, and ERP tools and maintain critical material master data.
