Job summary

Zurn Elkay Water Solutions Corporation is seeking a Senior Supply Chain Specialist to lead global sourcing initiatives for direct materials tied to New Product Development. You will coordinate cross-functional teams across Engineering, Finance, Quality, Procurement, Manufacturing, and sourcing partners to execute projects on schedule.

You will ideate, plan, and implement multiple sourcing programs while managing supplier relationships, spend analytics, and cost reduction efforts to deliver on

Qualifications

• BA/BS degree in business, supply chain, operations management, engineering or finance; Master’s Degree & CPSM preferred.
• 5+ years of experience in a sourcing role with low cost country sourcing experience.
• Experience building RFPS and creating tools to analyze responses.
• Proven success in a change management and “stretch” environment.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite; Tableau/Power BI preferred.
• Willingness to travel up to 25%, domestic and international.

Responsibilities

• Lead global supplier sourcing and re-sourcing projects across multiple categories.
• Collaborate with Engineering, Finance, Quality, Procurement, Manufacturing and China Sourcing Team.
• Develop cost justifications using total cost of ownership principles for sourcing projects.
• Coordinate RFPs/RFQs and lead supplier screening and selection.
• Negotiate contracts and terms with domestic and international suppliers.
• Publish monthly commodity metrics and drive cost savings initiatives.
