Job summary

Formlabs is seeking a Global Sourcing Manager to shape our supply chain for new products. You will work with R&D to identify suppliers, negotiate contracts, and manage PFEP in NP I BOM to secure value and quality.

You'll travel up to 20% to visit suppliers, lead supplier quality audits, and drive continuous improvement in sourcing processes while partnering with cross-functional teams across manufacturing and engineering.

Qualifications

• Post-graduate experience in strategic sourcing or related fields.
• Degree in Mechanical, Industrial, Manufacturing, or Electrical Engineering.
• Willingness to travel internationally up to 20% for supplier audits.
• Strong presentation, written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience in process quality plans and supplier quality audits.
• Ability to read engineering drawings and GD&T.
• Detail-oriented and data-driven with cross-functional collaboration.
• Independent worker and team player.

Responsibilities

• Identify and qualify suppliers for new product introductions.
• Own PFEP in NP I BOM; manage supplier selection, negotiation, contracts.
• Communicate technical requirements between suppliers and R&D.
• Research new manufacturing technologies and market intelligence.
• Identify supply risks and drive supplier performance.
• Lead supplier manufacturing process development and launch readiness.
• Cost modeling and cost estimation for new products.
• Source and procure material for NPI builds with suppliers.
• Provide reports on material availability, schedule, and program cost.
