Job summary

ExtendMyTeam is seeking a Sourcing Manager, Formulation to lead our supplier base and drive cost, quality, and delivery improvements across formulation products. You will build supplier relationships, evaluate partners, and manage RFQs, negotiations, and pre-award coordination.

The role requires experience in formulated consumer products, strong negotiation, cross-functional collaboration, and a track record of delivering value in global sourcing. Travel about 25% to visit suppliers.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in a related field
• Proven experience sourcing global suppliers with world-class capabilities
• Experience in formulated consumer products, personal care, OTC, pharma, or regulated products
• Lead negotiator with proven performance
• Strong cross-functional project leadership and multitasking abilities
• Strong Microsoft Office and Excel skills
• Knowledge of global sourcing platforms and resources
• Excellent negotiation and relationship-building skills
• Experience dealing with suppliers across Asia, Europe, Latin America and the US
• Understanding of commodities (raw materials, plastics, resins)

Responsibilities

• Match product/formulation requirements with suppliers with technical expertise, quality systems, regulatory capabilities, and capacity
• Lead negotiations on product COGS and key terms
• Prepare RFQs, analyze quotations, and recommend scenarios aligned with company goals
• Plan pre-award meetings and coordinate evaluations with internal departments
• Manage supplier transitions and base optimization initiatives
• Monitor supplier performance against KPIs and maintain supplier scorecards
• Identify alternate ingredients and supplier sources to improve cost and continuity
• Support confidentiality and IP protections related to formulations with Legal
• Travel approximately 25% to visit suppliers
