Job summary

Yinlun TDI LLC in Houston, TX is seeking a Senior Sourcing Manager to lead supplier development, strategic sourcing, and project purchasing across North America. This on-site role focuses on qualifying suppliers, driving cost reductions, and ensuring readiness for new product launches.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or above in Supply Chain, Engineering, Business, Logistics, Operations Management, or related field.
• 5–8 years in strategic sourcing, supplier development, procurement, supplier quality, or project purchasing in manufacturing.
• Experience in automotive manufacturing or Tier 1/Tier 2 suppliers preferred.
• Strong experience in supplier identification, evaluation, development, and performance management.
• Hands-on RFQ/RFP, cost analysis, negotiations, and sourcing strategy development.
• Knowledge of APQP, PPAP, IATF 16949, supplier audits, corrective actions.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute strategic sourcing and supplier development strategies to support automotive manufacturing operations, cost reduction, and supplier localization.
• Identify, evaluate, qualify, and develop new suppliers for direct materials and manufacturing-related products.
• Lead supplier selection, RFQ/RFP processes, commercial evaluations, cost analysis, contract negotiations, and sourcing decisions.
• Support supplier qualification, audits, quality improvement, and corrective actions with SQE and Quality teams.
• Assist APQP, PPAP, supplier readiness assessments, and NPI activities to ensure quality, cost, and delivery.
• Manage project purchasing timelines, cost targets, and supplier readiness for launches.
