Job summary

Yinlun TDI LLC is seeking a Sourcing Engineer in Houston, TX (On-site) to drive North American sourcing, production purchasing, and commodity management across our facility. You will manage POs, lead RFQ activities, and coordinate with cross-functional teams to optimize supplier performance and costs.

The role requires 3–5 years of manufacturing sourcing experience, Mandarin/English bilingual ability, and strong analytical and negotiation skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business, Engineering, or related field.
• 3–5 years of sourcing, purchasing, commodity management, or supply chain experience in manufacturing.
• Bilingual proficiency in Mandarin Chinese and English.
• Experience with RFQs, supplier negotiations, sourcing projects and supplier relationship management.

Responsibilities

• Issue and manage purchase orders for North American production plants.
• Monitor supplier order acknowledgements and delivery commitments.
• Lead sourcing activities and RFQ management for the Houston manufacturing plant.
• Identify, evaluate, and select suppliers based on cost, quality, delivery, and risk considerations.
• Support Commodity PMO activities including project tracking, sourcing timelines, supplier onboarding, and reporting.
• Coordinate with Engineering, Quality, Program Management, Operations, and Supply Chain teams.
• Support cost reduction, productivity, and supplier development initiatives.
• Analyze supplier quotations and support commercial negotiations.
• Maintain sourcing documentation, KPI reporting, and supplier performance data.
• Assist with supply chain risk mitigation and business continuity planning.
