Job summary

United Central Industrial Supply, a SunSource company, seeks a Senior Sourcing Manager to lead strategic sourcing initiatives across categories and manage critical supplier relationships in North America. You will drive cost optimization, supplier performance, and cross-functional collaboration with Operations, Product Management, Sales, and Finance.

The role requires extensive experience in negotiations, category strategy, and contract administration to support growth and competitive market

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field is required.
• 7-10 years of progressive sourcing, procurement, category management, or supply chain experience.
• 3-5 years of experience leading complex supplier negotiations and strategic sourcing initiatives.
• Experience with high-spend categories and large supplier networks preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute sourcing strategies to ensure cost competitiveness and supply continuity.
• Lead negotiations with strategic suppliers for favorable terms and rebates.
• Manage supplier relationships and act as escalation point for supplier-related issues.
• Collaborate with Operations, Inventory Management, Product Management, Sales, and Finance to align sourcing with business goals.
• Monitor supplier performance using key metrics like cost, quality, delivery, and service levels.
