Job summary

Baker Hughes is seeking a Sr Sourcing Manager - Buying/Procurement to lead a team of buyers and drive sourcing strategies across direct and indirect spend. You will partner with global stakeholders to optimize procurement, fulfillment, and supply chain performance while aligning with business objectives.

The role requires strong procurement leadership, a bachelor’s degree, and a track record of improving supplier performance alongside P-2-P excellence.

Qualifications

• Sourcing & Procurement experience in aftermarket business.
• Bachelor’s degree required.
• Proven track record developing suppliers & improving performance.
• Knowledge of Control Valves, Safety Valves, and Controllers & Actuators.
• Expertise in MS 365, SAP, Ariba, ThoughtSpot, Power BI, and AI.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership, development, and coaching to a team of Buyers and Fulfilment Leaders.
• Drive a positive organizational culture with front-line leadership empowerment.
• Partner with Strategic Sourcing to implement sourcing strategies and supplier development.
• Develop and maintain relationships with strategic suppliers and establish programs for best-in-class performance.
• Communicate and monitor performance with suppliers and implement improvement plans.
• Conduct supplier performance reviews with top management and cross-functional leaders.
• Own Fulfillment KPIs for all suppliers, including on-time delivery and NPCs.
• Collaborate with Global & Plant level Materials Planning, Manufacturing, and Finance.
• Lead material synchronization aligned to revenue, margin, and overdue reduction targets.
• Partner with Accounts Payable, Receiving, and Warehousing to prioritize invoices and drive P-2-P.
