Baker Hughes is seeking a Sourcing Specialist - Software to help shape annual and long-term software sourcing strategies in a global, fast-paced environment. You will lead negotiations, collaborate with IT, legal and finance teams, and drive cost savings while ensuring compliance with security and privacy standards.

The role emphasizes stakeholder partnership, data-driven category planning, and MS Office proficiency, with flexibility in work patterns and a strong focus on delivering business

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree is required.
• 6+ years of progressive experience leading technology sourcing for global software.
• Experience negotiating & redlining software contracts.
• Ability to leverage internal/external data to create software category plans.
• Must be a skilled negotiator for planning and executing sourcing strategies.
• Strong MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) skills.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to annual and long-term software sourcing strategies and pipeline plans.
• Achieve cost savings targets.
• Lead RFx and commercial contract negotiations with software suppliers.
• Collaborate with IT, legal, finance, cyber security and other stakeholders.
• Mitigate supplier risks through contracting and negotiation management.
• Communicate project status and ensure process compliance.
• Partner with IT and cross-functional teams to achieve business outcomes and KPIs.
• Lead multiple sourcing projects in a fast-paced global environment.
• Understand cybersecurity and data privacy regulations related to software procurement.
