Job summary

Wing is seeking a Global Sourcing Manager in Palo Alto to design and scale our hardware supply chain. You will lead supplier engagement, partner with engineering, operations, legal, and finance to secure cost-effective supplier capacity and ensure quality.

You’ll drive long-term supplier relationships globally, negotiate complex deals, and set up scalable processes across cross-functional teams in a fast-paced, high-autonomy environment.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in global supplier relationships and high-volume production.
• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical/industrial/electrical engineering or equivalent.
• Ability to operate autonomously and drive scalable solutions.
• Learn quickly about designs and underlying technology while delivering fast execution.
• Effective communication with suppliers, peers and executives.
• Strong negotiation skills for new technology and complex deals.
• Experience with legal frameworks, supplier contracts and IP licensing.

Responsibilities

• Lead commercial engagement and sourcing strategy for parts and/or assembly.
• Negotiate contractual terms and pricing for supplier partnerships.
• Partner with internal teams and suppliers to ensure quality and manufacturability.
• Secure supplier capacity and scale to meet demand.
• Source and qualify new suppliers; conduct market research and tech analysis.
• Assess and mitigate supply chain risk.
• Build deep understanding of technology and ops to foster global supplier relationships.
• Build trust and scalable processes with cross-functional teams.
