Job summary

Graphcore in Milpitas, CA, seeks a Global Sourcing Manager – Rack & Mechanicals to lead sourcing strategy for rack infrastructure and mechanical hardware components supporting Graphcore’s AI infrastructure platforms.

This role partners closely with engineering, supply chain, and finance teams to secure best-in-class capacity, cost, and delivery performance while translating technical roadmaps into sourcing strategies and negotiating long-term supplier agreements.

Qualifications

• Essential: Bachelor-level technical or related degree and 10+ years in strategic sourcing or technical procurement.
• Experience with rack infrastructure and mechanical hardware sourcing.
• Proven ability to translate product requirements into commercial sourcing strategies.
• Strong cost modeling and total cost of ownership analysis.
• Excellent cross-functional collaboration and stakeholder management.

Responsibilities

• Own strategic sourcing activities for rack and mechanical hardware components.
• Develop and execute multi-year commodity strategies aligned with roadmaps.
• Translate technical specs into sourcing frameworks and negotiation plans.
• Lead complex negotiations including long-term supply agreements and capacity reservations.
• Conduct supplier reviews to drive performance and alignment.
• Ensure supply continuity through capacity planning and risk management.
