Qualifications

• 5+ years hands-on purchasing experience
• 3+ years in global sourcing and international imports
• Proficiency with HTS codes, tariff structures, and trade-compliance rules
• Experience negotiating favorable terms and lowering total cost of ownership
• ERP/procurement software plus advanced Excel for analysis and reporting

Responsibilities

• Own sourcing and purchasing of parts from domestic and international suppliers, securing best total cost of ownership.
• Manage all import/export documentation and trade compliance — HTS codes, invoices, packing lists, certificates of origin.
• Coordinate international freight across ocean, air, and ground with freight forwarders and customs brokers.
• Ensure compliance with U.S. Customs regulations and tariff policy; track landed cost for pricing accuracy.
• Buy operational materials and equipment; issue and track POs; monitor stock levels and lead times.
