Qualifications

• 15+ years in enterprise software vendor management, software asset management, IT sourcing, FinOps or related discipline.
• Global, cross-functional team leadership across geographies and time zones.
• Deep expertise in enterprise software licensing models across major vendors.
• Proven success in high-stakes vendor negotiations and renewals.
• Strong FinOps knowledge including SaaS spend management and cost visibility.
• Executive engagement with C-suite on software investments and cost performance.
• Experience establishing or maturing a Software Asset Management program.
• Ability to navigate ambiguity and drive outcomes through influence and structured problem solving.
• Operational governance discipline with scalable processes and controls.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end enterprise software vendor management strategy across a global portfolio of Tier 1 and Tier 2 vendors.
• Lead global SaaS FinOps practice with real-time spend visibility and optimization across business units.
• Oversee billing and cost allocation frameworks for software assets with transparent charge-back models.
• Manage public cloud marketplace transactions (AWS, Azure, Google) with optimized spend and billing.
• Lead deal analysis and business case management for investments and renewals with TCO and build-vs-buy analyses.
• Own software budget and forecast management across a multi-hundred-million-dollar portfolio.
• Build and develop a high-performing global vendor management, SAM, and FinOps team.
• Serve as senior relationship owner with vendor executives and drive governance with strategic partners.
• Define and report KPIs on cost savings, license compliance, utilization, and renewal outcomes.
• Drive continuous improvement by modernizing the SAM and FinOps tech stack and adopting best practices.
