Job summary

AHEAD, a leading platform-enabled digital business partner, seeks a Software Engineering Manager - Foundry to lead Signal, its in-house ERP powering Foundry's operations. You will guide architecture, promote responsible AI tooling, and drive delivery of valuable features across the organization.

The role manages a globally distributed team in the US and India, partnering with product and business stakeholders to build scalable solutions, mentor engineers, and grow talent with a strong emphasis

Qualifications

• Minimum 5+ years in software development with at least 2 years in a management or team-lead role.
• Preferred 8+ years in software development with 3+ years managing web applications teams and ERP/domain experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead, mentor, and grow a team of software engineers building Signal.
• Collaborate with a globally distributed team across US and India.
• Conduct regular 1:1s, provide feedback, and support career development.
• Participate in hiring, sourcing, interviewing, and onboarding engineers.
• Foster a healthy team culture of collaboration, accountability, and improvement.
• Partner with product and business stakeholders to translate requirements into plans.
• Own delivery timelines and ensure high-quality software ships on schedule.
• Guide architectural decisions and AI-assisted workflows and standards.
• Remove obstacles and shield the team from distractions to stay focused.
• Balance agility with predictability in development processes.
• Champion fluent, responsible use of AI tools and coding agents.
