Job summary

Britax Römer is seeking a Global Manager of Soft Goods Operations to lead the operational execution of development programmes across our global portfolio. The role drives planning, coordination and delivery from concept through production, collaborating with Design, Product Management, Engineering, Sourcing, Compliance, Quality, Manufacturing, Marketing and suppliers worldwide.

You will lead the Soft Goods Project Management team, develop integrated schedules, manage risks, and report milestones

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
• 8+ years in product development/operations roles, preferably in juvenile or consumer goods.
• 3–5 years leading teams and developing staff.
• Proven track record delivering complex cross-functional programs from concept to production.
• Strong organizational, portfolio and resource-management skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day operational execution of Soft Goods development programmes.
• Own delivery of multiple concurrent development initiatives.
• Mentor and develop Soft Goods Project Managers.
• Develop and maintain integrated project plans and timelines.
• Coordinate with design, product management, engineering, sourcing and suppliers.
• Lead cross-functional meetings and drive decisions.
• Identify risks and develop mitigation plans.
• Maintain dashboards and KPI reporting for portfolio visibility.
• Provide concise leadership updates on status and capacity.
• Identify opportunities to improve processes and governance.
