Job summary

Google is seeking a Social Media Manager for the Platforms and Devices Marketing team to lead strategy and execution for Google Chrome. You will navigate ambiguity, drive global programs, and collaborate with internal teams and external partners to scale operations while maintaining high visual and editorial quality.

You will manage cross-functional workflows, shape platform-native content, and connect social performance to brand marketing KPIs.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
6 years of experience in consumer-facing social media marketing.
3 years of experience in social media.

Responsibilities

Own and manage the editorial calendar across social channels, ensuring a consistent mix of always-on and campaign-based content.
Oversee end-to-end content quality and publishing, including creative reviews, platform optimization, and community engagement.
Collaborate effectively with internal makers and agency partners to ensure all creative work intended for social channels adheres to brand and legal standards.
Provide input on campaign briefs to shape impactful, platform-native organic social deliverables.
Analyze and report on content performance, surfacing insights that inform future content and platform strategy.
