Security Industry Specialists is seeking a part-time SOC Operator in Alameda, CA to help safeguard personnel, assets, and brand across global locations. You will monitor security systems, evaluate incidents, and alert teams as needed in a SOC environment.

The role requires an associate degree or 2+ years in security, proficiency with PC and iOS tools, and the ability to work flexible shifts (Mon-Sun). We offer a competitive hourly rate of $30 and opportunities for growth.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or 2+ years in security or related field.
• Proficiency in PC and iOS hardware/software incl. word processing, data analysis, mapping.
• Knowledge of alarm monitoring, access control, and CCTV systems.
• State guard certification per state law and client requirements.
• Reliable team player with strong customer service.

Responsibilities

• Monitor global security trends and incidents.
• Inform field personnel of operational concerns in advance.
• Investigate alarms and coordinate with emergency services.
• Distribute advisories and communications to stakeholders.
• Follow procedures for local to global crises management.
• Perform other related duties as required.
