Job summary

Biogen is seeking a Director, Global Launch Excellence Lead for the SMA portfolio to steer end-to-end global launch strategies. The role requires leading cross-functional teams across regions, executing launch plans with rigor, and integrating IDU and Thecaflex programs to accelerate priorities.

You will build tools, shape engagement with healthcare providers, patients, and caregivers, and report to senior leadership.

Qualifications

• Requires 10+ years in pharma/biotech with launch readiness focus.
• Proven track record leading cross-functional global launches.
• Experience with AI-enabled tools and digital innovations.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate global SMA launch plans with cross-functional teams.
• Manage timelines, budgets, risks for integrated launch plans.
• Act as integrator for IDU and Thecaflex programs to remove barriers.
• Develop tools to plan and track launch progress and enable collaboration.
• Prepare presentations for strategic planning and governance review.
• Define and execute global engagement with providers, patients, caregivers.
• Provide progress updates to leadership and governance committees.
• Advance organizational capabilities with new methods and tools.
