Job summary

Samtec, a leading global interconnect manufacturer, seeks a Signal Integrity Global Test Lab Manager in Mechanicsburg, PA. This role leads SI test lab operations across R&D and engineering, owning the technical operating model, methods, calibration, data quality, and cross-site alignment.

You will mentor staff, govern lab processes, plan capacity, and implement automation and dashboards to improve throughput and results quality. Strong communication and multi-location leadership are essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum 10 years of experience in Signal Integrity or RF/microwave engineering.
• Experience managing technical associates and lab teams.
• Deep understanding of high-speed electrical test instrumentation and measurement methodologies.
• Experience creating and enforcing lab operating standards and dashboards.
• Strong technical communication and cross-functional leadership.

Responsibilities

• Lead global SI test lab operations for R&D and engineering development; align priorities, workflow, deliverables, and standards across lab locations.
• Manage direct reports; mentor associates and support career development.
• Own technical governance for lab methods, measurement procedures, instrumentation readiness, calibration, fixture practices, documentation, data integrity, and report quality.
• Establish and enforce common lab processes for sample intake, queue management, test planning, execution, review, documentation, and release of results.
• Drive cross-site consistency, repeatability, throughput, and measurement-simulation correlation for high-speed electrical test activity.
• Partner with engineering, operations and product owners to plan lab capability, capacity, and equipment roadmaps.
• Evaluate, recommend, and implement approved lab technologies, automation, dashboards, tools, and process improvements that improve quality, cycle time, and scalability.
• Review and approve significant test plans, methods, acceptance criteria, and reports for high-impact R&D and engineering development programs.
• Ensure appropriate traceability, documentation, data handling, safety practices, and quality compliance in approved systems and lab workflows.
