Senneca Holdings seeks an experienced Shipping & Receiving Clerk for our Philadelphia, PA facility. You will manage day-to-day shipping and receiving operations, ensuring timely, accurate, and cost-effective shipments while maintaining quality control across the process.

The role requires 2+ years in shipping/logistics and proficiency with UPS/FedEx and ERP systems like SAP/Oracle. Strong organization, communication, and problem-solving skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Education: HS diploma or equivalent; logistics degree preferred.
• 2+ years in shipping/logistics or related field.
• Familiarity with shipping software and ERP systems.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate outbound and inbound shipments per company policies.
• Prepare shipping documents: labels, bills of lading, necessary forms.
• Track shipments and address delays or damages.
• Communicate with carriers to negotiate rates and pickup times.
• Update inventory movements and system records.
• Ensure compliance with safety, customs, and hazmat rules.
• Collaborate with warehouse, sales, and customer service teams.
• Identify cost-saving opportunities in shipping operations.
• Prepare shipping activity reports and metrics.
