Job summary

Senneca is seeking a detail-oriented Shipping Coordinator at our Philadelphia, PA facility. You will manage day-to-day shipping and receiving operations to ensure timely, accurate, and cost-effective shipments while maintaining quality control.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in shipping, logistics, or a related field.
• Education aligned as listed (high school diploma or higher in logistics/supply chain preferred).
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate shipments: schedule outbound and inbound shipments.
• Prepare shipping documents including bills of lading and labels.
• Track shipments and address delays or issues in transit.
• Communicate with carriers and suppliers to negotiate rates and schedules.
• Maintain inventory records and update system with movements.
• Ensure compliance with safety, customs, and hazmat regulations.
• Collaborate with warehouse, sales, and customer service teams.
• Identify opportunities for cost-saving in shipping operations.
• Prepare and maintain shipping activity reports.
