Job summary

Aluminum Precision Products, Inc. in Oxnard, CA is seeking a Shipping Coordinator to verify and record shipments, create packing lists, schedule pickups with UPS/FedEx, and ensure shipments meet customer specifications.

You will handle inbound/outbound shipments, prepare export documents, perform data entry, and coordinate with accounting and purchasing. Prior experience in shipping and familiarity with carrier systems is preferred.

Qualifications

High School Diploma or equivalent.
6 months – 1 year experience with order entry, shipping, warehousing procedures, and shipping parts for aerospace, aviation, or automotive industries
International shipping experience highly desired.

Responsibilities

Verify and keep records on incoming and outgoing shipments.
Create shipping lists and schedule truck pickups via UPS, FedEx, and Common Carrier.
Complete shipping logs daily and verify delivered items against the packing slip.
Receive and confirm inbound shipments to APP, Inc.
Prepare documentation for international export shipments.
Data entry for orders, packing lists, invoices, and shipping documents.
Print pick tickets and pick inventory to maintain on-time shipments.
Cycle count and reconcile inventory discrepancies.
Quarantine defective parts and coordinate with Quality/Production for repair or scrap.
