Job summary

Quality Aluminum Products is seeking a shipping helper to assist with loading, storing, and preparing products for shipment or warehousing. You will verify quantity, quality, labeling, and addressing, while maintaining organization and adherence to safety protocols.

The role involves locating and retrieving items, building pallets, loading trucks, and completing required paperwork in a fast-paced environment. Prior forklift certification is beneficial.

Qualifications

• Less than high school education or 1–3 months related experience.
• Ability to stand for full shift and lift up to 50 pounds comfortably.
• Basic English reading and arithmetic for paperwork.

Responsibilities

• Locate products based on customer bill of order and location codes.
• Retrieve products in timely and accurate manner.
• Stage and organize products in staging area.
• Build pallets to size depending on shipping needs; operate power tools.
• Manually load, pack, and organize products on trucks.
• Complete all required paperwork accurately.
• Maintain regular attendance and safety procedures.
• Follow 6S standards and maintain clean work area.
• Other tasks as assigned by management.
