Qualifications

• Experience shipping, logistics or warehouse operations.
• 5+ years in a shipment coordinator role.
• Hands-on experience processing domestic and international bound shipments.
• Experience preparing reviewing key documents like bills of lading and packing lists.
• Familiarity with carrier scheduling and freight booking; SAP/ERP systems knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and schedule shipments directly with customers, agents, carriers, and couriers.
• Negotiate internal and external arrangements to ensure customer satisfaction.
• Work with Order Analysts to obtain best arrangements for Allison Transmission.
• Address disruptions to schedules and production planning to minimize OEM impact.
• Prepare shipping documentation, labels, and paperwork for domestic and international locations.
• Maintain accurate records of shipping activities.
• Coordinate outbound shipments with warehouse personnel.
• Ensure safety policies and regulatory requirements are met.
• Train Shipping Analyst(s) in key responsibilities listed above.
