Job summary

Arxada in Mapleton, IL is hiring a Lead Shipping Specialist to ensure shipments are prepared, documented, and delivered on time. You will coordinate carriers, customer pickups, and 3PL activities, while maintaining SAP records and regulatory compliance for hazardous materials.

You will collaborate with Production, Warehouse, Quality, Regulatory and Carriers to improve logistics processes, safety, and service levels, requiring strong communication and attention to detail.

Qualifications

• Strong organizational and problem-solving skills in a fast-paced logistics environment.
• Excellent communication and collaboration with customers, carriers and internal teams.
• Attention to detail in shipping docs, inventory, SAP and regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and maintain domestic and export shipping documentation (BOLs, COAs, SDS).
• Coordinate customer pickups, carrier appointments and 3PL activities.
• Maintain SAP records and regulatory compliance for shipments.
• Resolve discrepancies with internal teams and partners.
• Support compliance for hazardous materials, cargo tanks, and LTL shipments.
• Coordinate daily domestic and international shipments to ensure on-time delivery.
