Job summary

Arxada in Mapleton, IL is seeking a Lead Shipping Specialist to coordinate domestic and international shipments, manage documentation, and ensure on-time delivery while complying with regulatory requirements.

You will work with cross-functional teams, use SAP for shipment and inventory data, and partner with production, warehouse and carriers to improve logistics processes. Experience in logistics and ERP systems is preferred.

• Ability to understand and follow hazardous materials, transportation, safety, and regulatory requirements

Responsibilities

• Prepare and maintain domestic and export shipping documentation (BOLs, COAs, SDS, Labels)
• Coordinate customer pickups, carrier appointments, 3PL activities, and trailer scheduling
• Maintain shipment and inventory data in SAP and other logistics tracking systems
• Resolve shipment, inventory, labeling, carrier, and warehouse discrepancies with internal teams and partners
• Support compliance for hazardous materials, cargo tank, dryvan, and LTL shipments
• Coordinate daily domestic and international shipments to ensure on-time delivery
• Partner with Production, Warehouse, Quality, Regulatory, EHS, customers and carriers to improve logistics processes

As a Lead Shipping Specialist in Mapleton, IL, you will play a vital role in ensuring products and materials are shipped safely, accurately, and on time to customers. You will coordinate shipments, carriers, customer pickups, documentation, SAP transactions, regulatory requirements while working closely with other departments. This role directly contributes to business success by keeping the supply moving, maintaining compliance, and providing excellent customer service. Essential Job Functions

• Prepare and maintain domestic and export shipping documentation, including BOLs, COAs, SDS, Labels, and other regulatory requirements
• Coordinate customer pickups, carrier appointments, 3PL activities, and trailer scheduling to support on-time delivery.
• Maintain accurate shipment, inventory, and production information in SAP and other logistics tracking systems
• Resolve shipment, inventory, labeling, carrier, and warehouse discrepancies by working with internal teams and external partners
• Support compliance requirements for hazardous materials, cargo tank, dryvan, and LTL shipments, exports, and other specialized logistics activities
• Coordinate daily domestic and international shipments, ensuring products are shipped safely, accurately, and on schedule
• Partner with Production, Warehouse, Quality, Regulatory, EHS, customer, and carriers to improve logistics processes, service, safety, and efficiently

Qualifications & Experience

• Strong organizational and problem-solving skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced logistics environment
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills with the ability to work effectively with customers, carriers, warehouse teams, 3PLs, and cross functional partners.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy when managing shipping documentation, inventory, SAP transactions, and regulatory requirements
• Experience with logistics, transportation, warehousing, supply chain, or a related manufacturing environment preferred
• Working knowledge of SAP or similar ERP systems and Microsoft Office applications preferred
• Ability to understand and follow hazardous material, transportation, safety, and regulatory requirements

The expected salary range for this role is 59,000 $- 72,000 $, but specific employee compensation may vary depending on factors including experience, education, training, licensure, certification, location and other job-related, non-discriminatory factors permitted by law.

This role is also eligible to earn a short-term incentive bonus and the following benefits: 401(k) plan, medical, dental, vision, life, and disability insurance, paid time off, paid holidays and paid sick leave.
