Job summary

Air Liquide USA LLC seeks an International Shipping Coordinator in Chanhassen, MN to manage international and domestic shipments, ensuring compliance with all regulations and coordinating with brokers and Freight Forwarders.

The role requires Hazmat shipping experience, strong organizational skills, and proficiency with Excel and Oracle. The position offers first-class benefits and on-site involvement in a manufacturing setting.

Qualifications

• 7+ years relevant experience, including 3+ years of experience shipping Hazmat in IATA, IMDG, and DOT.
• Proficiency in the English language.
• Good mechanical skills and aptitude.
• Good organizational and record keeping skills.
• Ability to operate PITs (forklifts and electric pallet jacks).
• Ability to lift 50+ pounds.
• Basic knowledge of the properties/characteristics of products being handled.
• Experience working with multi-international sites.
• Self starter able to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Takes ownership of their given areas of responsibility.
• Be able to accurately perform basic arithmetic calculations.
• Experience Microsoft Word, Excel, Oracle.

Responsibilities

• Lead international shipping coordination for imports, exports, and domestic shipments.
• Ensure compliance with U.S. import/export regulations and 3rd party providers.
• Coordinate with brokers and carriers for international deliveries.
• Create clearance documents and maintain compliant records.
• Operate in a safety-conscious environment following 5S principles.
• Review shipping invoices and support timely payments.
