Job summary

Percona, a remote-first database services company, seeks a Senior Vice President of Global Services to own global delivery, strategic planning, and P&L for Support, Managed Services, Professional Services, and future offerings. You will lead a cross-functional team, shape product strategy with Product and Engineering, and ensure exceptional customer experiences across all interactions.

This is a senior, non-caretaker role sitting with the executive team.

Qualifications

• 15+ years leading global delivery organizations in software or technology.
• Experience with open source technologies and databases.
• Proven ability to own P&L and drive strategic initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Global Services division (Support, Managed Services, Global Advanced Services, Professional Services, Project Management, Technical Leads, and Delivery Operations).
• Own end-to-end quality, timeliness, and satisfaction of service delivery to customers.
• Set strategic direction for Global Services in alignment with company objectives and market dynamics.
• Champion an AI-first approach to service delivery, using automation and new technology to scale efficiently.
• Build and refine KPIs for service delivery and customer satisfaction to drive continuous improvement.
• Put systems in place to capture, share, and reuse knowledge across Global Services.
• Maintain and grow Percona’s reputation as the experts in open source database technologies.
• Stay close to key customers and translate their evolving needs into service delivery.
• Champion the Percona community by encouraging delivery teams to contribute back.
• Hold P&L responsibility for the organization and allocate resources wisely.
• Partner with Go-to-Market, Product Management, and Engineering to inform strategy and drive innovation.
