Job summary

Waters is seeking a Sr Product Manager for Global Service Portfolio to own the end-to-end lifecycle of service offerings across Waters Biosciences instruments.

You will define portfolio strategy, roadmaps, and commercialization plans to drive service revenue growth and customer value, partnering across Finance, Legal, and Commercial leadership to deliver scalable, differentiated services.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in life sciences, engineering, business, or related field.
• 6–9 years of experience in product management, service marketing, or portfolio management.
• Proven ownership of end-to-end lifecycles with measurable commercial outcomes.
• Strong analytical skills with data-driven strategy, pricing, and portfolio decisions.
• Ability to influence stakeholders and lead without direct authority.
• Experience in global, cross-functional environments.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain a global service portfolio strategy aligned to instrument platform strategies.
• Own the multi-year service roadmap balancing growth, customer needs, and feasibility.
• Define and evolve service packaging and pricing to drive attachment and renewal.
• Lead end-to-end lifecycle governance including launches and retirements.
• Partner with Global Product Management and R&D to align service readiness with releases.
• Translate VOC and market data into actionable portfolio improvements and innovation.
• Collaborate with Service Operations and Field Service for scalability and margin alignment.
• Partner with Finance to model revenue growth, gross margin, and pricing scenarios.
• Establish and monitor portfolio analytics and KPIs for governance.
• Ensure offerings meet contractual, regulatory, and compliance requirements.
