Job summary

Smiths Detection, Inc. is seeking a Service Logistics Coordinator in the United States to manage shipping/receiving, tracking, and documentation. The role supports the Field Service Team and requires strong communication, organization, and ability to travel.

Qualifications include a High School Diploma or GED and 2–3 years’ experience with parts/shipment management. Proficiency in SAP is required; a related Associate’s Degree or trade certification is preferred.

Qualifications

• Associate’s Degree/Related Trade Certification preferred; equivalence via 2–3 years of work experience acceptable.
• 2–3 years’ experience organizing and accounting for parts and shipments.
• Proficient in ERP systems, including SAP.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Maintain clear, professional communication across all levels of the organization.
• Collaborate with Field Service Team and Logistics personnel to meet customer requirements and fulfill parts needs.
• Implement cost-control measures to enhance operational efficiency.
• Be flexible with travel and non-standard hours as needed by business demands.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental policies and procedures.
