Job summary

DSV – Global Transport and Logistics in the United States (Bensenville, IL) is seeking a Logistics Coordinator to manage movement of goods from suppliers to customers. You will work with multiple departments to ensure shipments meet deadlines, budget, and customer specs.

You will track shipments, manage inventory, and resolve issues during the shipping process. The role requires strong communication, organizational skills, and knowledge of transportation regulations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in logistics, supply chain management, or related field preferred but not required.
• At least 2 years of experience in logistics or supply chain management preferred.
• Experience in transportation or logistics company is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and manage the movement of goods from suppliers to customers.
• Communicate with customers, suppliers, and internal departments to ensure on-time delivery and meet specs.
• Prepare shipping documents, including bills of lading and customs documentation.
• Track shipments and manage inventory levels.
• Resolve issues during shipping, including delays, damages, and lost shipments.
• Maintain accurate records of all shipping transactions.
• Monitor transportation costs and minimize expenses.
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends and developments.
