Job summary

Markent Personnel is seeking a Director/Manager of Development Engineering to lead sensor product development for US and global markets. The role covers electronic-based products with embedded microcontrollers, sensors and firmware, and requires management of multi-disciplinary teams across locations.

Applicants should have experience in business development for sensors and strong customer contact, with willingness to report to an office near Chicago or Milwaukee three days a week.

Qualifications

• Experience leading sensor product development teams for US/global markets.
• Strong understanding of embedded MCUs, firmware and sensors.
• Experience managing engineering groups across multiple sites.
• Business development and customer contact experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead the development of sensor products for US and global markets.
• Oversee electronic-based products with embedded MCUs, sensors and firmware.
• Lead cross-disciplinary teams: electrical, firmware, mechanical and systems.
• Be willing to report to the office 3 days a week within 100 miles of Chicago or Milwaukee.
