Job summary

Aspire Talent Solutions is seeking a Director/Manager of Development Engineering for sensors to lead US and global sensor product development, including automotive, industrial, and adjacent markets.

The role will manage cross-disciplinary teams (electrical, firmware, mechanical, systems), develop electronic-based products with embedded MCUs and firmware, and require reporting to the office 3 days a week within 100 miles of Chicago or Milwaukee.

Qualifications

• Director/Manager of Development Engineering for sensors.
• Diverse applications across automotive, commercial vehicle, off road, industrial or adjacent markets.
• Experience managing engineering groups in the U.S. and globally.
• Strong business development knowledge for sensors and customer contact.

Responsibilities

• Lead the development of sensor products for the U.S. and global markets.
• Develop electronic-based products with embedded microcontrollers, sensors and firmware.
• Lead multidisciplinary engineering teams including electrical, firmware, mechanical and systems engineering.
• Within 100 miles of Chicago or Milwaukee, willingness to report to the office 3 days a week.
