Job summary

The Keystone Distinction Group seeks a Director/Manager of Development Engineering for sensors to lead product development for US and global markets. You will oversee electronic-based products with embedded microcontrollers, sensors and firmware, coordinating electrical, firmware, mechanical and systems teams.

This role requires management of US and global engineering groups and strong business development with customers in the sensor space.

Qualifications

• Direct leadership of sensor development engineering teams.
• Experience in developing sensor products for multiple markets.
• Ability to manage US and global engineering groups.
• Experience engaging with customers to drive sensor business.

Responsibilities

• Lead sensor product development for US and global markets.
• Develop electronic-based products with embedded microcontrollers, sensors and firmware.
• Lead multidisciplinary teams across electrical, firmware, mechanical, and systems engineering.
• Must report to office 3 days a week (within 100 miles of Chicago or Milwaukee).

Requirements:

• Seeking a Director / Manager of Development Engineering for sensors.
• Should have a diverse applications for sensors such as automotive, commercial vehicle, off road, industrial or adjacent markets.
• Should have management of engineering groups for both U.S. and globally.
• Should have a good understanding of business development for sensors and customer contact.

Duties:

• You will lead the development of sensor products for the U.S. and global markets.
• This will include developing electronic-based products, incorporating embedded microcontrollers, sensors and firmware.
• Will lead multidisciplinary engineering teams to include electrical, firmware, mechanical and systems engineering disciplines.
• If you are living within a 100 mile radius of Chicago or Milwaukee no relocation is required but must be willing to report to the office 3 days a week.
