Job summary

You will lead a global team, collaborate across Commercial, Market Access and Policy, ensure compliance and community engagement, and translate clinical value into real-world adoption.

This role focuses on implementing science, health outcomes, and readiness across health systems while maintaining ABPI/PMCPA standards.

Qualifications

• MD, PharmD or PhD in a medical/scientific field or public health.
• Experience in HIV or infectious disease therapy.
• Medical affairs experience in evidence generation, access, service delivery and market-shaping.
• Experience leading global medical strategy and collaboration with Commercial and Market Access.
• Experience leading an asset/indication within medical affairs in a local affiliate role; matrix leadership.
• Interfacing with Policy, Health Outcomes, communities and external stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Set and own the global medical strategy for long-acting adoption.
• Collaborate with Commercial, Market Access and Policy to align medical, value and access strategy.
• Maintain relationship with pipeline to inform evidence generation and transformation planning.
• Lead and develop a small global team with implementation science focus.
• Shape the evidence agenda, including real-world evidence and health-system readiness.
• Design and deliver medical education and scientific exchange across meetings, symposia and digital platforms.
• Lead community-based participatory research with stakeholders to inform evidence and transformation.
• Provide senior scientific expertise to external bodies on long-acting delivery models and market readiness.
• Ensure scientific quality and ABPI/PMCPA compliance across activities.
• Represent ViiV in governance and external forums shaping future HIV care.
