Job summary

ClickOut Media is seeking an experienced DevOps Engineer to join our infrastructure team. You will operate, maintain and evolve our AWS-based platform, owning production infrastructure, troubleshooting complex issues and driving automation.

The role requires hands-on AWS expertise, Linux administration, and strong IaC practices with Terraform and Ansible. You will collaborate with cross‑functional teams to support deployments, monitor systems with Grafana, Prometheus and CloudWatch, and improve

Qualifications

• Hands-on AWS in production environments.
• Strong Linux administration and troubleshooting skills.
• Good understanding of AWS networking, security, IAM and infrastructure architecture.
• Production experience with several AWS services used in our stack (EC2, ALB, S3, RDS/Aurora, CloudWatch).
• Experience with Terraform and infrastructure-as-code practices.
• Experience with Ansible or similar configuration-management tooling.
• Good working knowledge of Docker and Docker Compose.
• Experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins).
• Experience with monitoring and observability platforms (Prometheus, Grafana, CloudWatch).
• Knowledge of networking concepts (DNS, HTTP/HTTPS, load balancing, firewalls, TLS).
• Ability to diagnose complex issues across production environments.

Responsibilities

• Design, deploy, maintain and troubleshoot production infrastructure on AWS.
• Manage AWS environments and services (EC2, ALB, S3, RDS/Aurora, DynamoDB, ElastiCache, SQS, SNS).
• Administer and troubleshoot Linux-based systems.
• Build and maintain infrastructure with Terraform.
• Maintain server and application configuration with Ansible.
• Operate containerised applications with Docker and Docker Compose.
• Build and maintain Jenkins CI/CD pipelines for automated deployment.
• Monitor with Grafana, Prometheus and CloudWatch.
• Manage MySQL/Aurora, DynamoDB and ClickHouse databases.
• Troubleshoot Redis workloads with ElastiCache.
• Investigate production incidents and implement fixes.
• Improve platform reliability, security and performance.
• Automate repetitive tasks and reduce manual management.
• Review infrastructure changes and participate in decisions.
