Job summary

Intuitive Surgical is seeking a Senior Compensation Partner to lead market-informed compensation strategies across global client groups, including Manufacturing and Chief Medical Office. You will translate business priorities into practical pay solutions and advise HR leadership on governance, equity, and structure.

The role requires onsite collaboration three days per week in Sunnyvale, CA or Peachtree Corners, GA, with leadership responsibilities and mentorship within the Compensation team.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree and 12+ years in compensation, Total Rewards, HR, or advisory roles.
• Deep knowledge of pay practices, program design, internal equity, governance, and confidentiality.
• Advanced analytics to translate data into actionable recommendations.

Responsibilities

• Understand Intuitive's business models and talent priorities to design compensation solutions.
• Develop executive-ready analyses and decision materials showing context, risks, and actions.
• Design and scale compensation programs, processes, and tools.
• Serve as a credible advisor to HR and business leaders across client groups.
• Monitor market practices for base pay, variable pay, and equity decisions.
• Provide timely support for emerging business needs and scalable approaches.
• Coach Compensation team on methodologies and best practices.
