Job summary

Zenlayer Inc is seeking a Senior Accountant to join our global finance team in California. You will own the monthly close process, prepare consolidated financial statements, and support audits in a fast-paced environment.

You will ensure US GAAP compliance, perform variance analysis across multiple currencies, and collaborate across regional finance teams. Strong NetSuite and Excel skills, plus bilingual English-Chinese, are highly valued.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA preferred.
7 years of progressive accounting experience in public accounting or multinational tech company.
Bilingual in English and Chinese.
Strong US GAAP knowledge and experience supporting public company audits.
Experience with ASC 606, ASC 842, stock-based compensation, and software capitalization.
Proficiency with ERP systems (NetSuite) and advanced Excel.
Self-learning mindset and adaptability to new systems.

Responsibilities

Own and execute key aspects of the monthly and quarterly close.
Prepare balance sheet and P&L schedules across entities and currencies.
Perform variance analysis and resolve discrepancies across GL accounts.
Collaborate with other departments and regional finance teams for data collection.
Assist in monthly financial reporting and group consolidation.
Ensure compliance with US GAAP and internal accounting policies.
Support audit-ready workpapers and disclosures.
Assist in implementing internal controls over financial reporting.
