Job summary

Zenlayer seeks a Senior Accountant to join our global finance team. You will own month-end close, reconciliations, and timely financial reporting across multiple entities and currencies.

Responsibilities include supporting audits, ASC disclosures, and internal controls while coordinating with regional teams. A CPA or equivalent is preferred, with NetSuite and advanced Excel skills highly valued.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA or equivalent certification strongly preferred.
• 7 years of progressive accounting experience, ideally in public accounting, listed multinational or technology company.
• Bilingual in English and Chinese is required.
• Strong knowledge of US GAAP and experience supporting public company audit standards.
• Experience with NetSuite and advanced Excel.

Responsibilities

• Own and execute key aspects of the monthly and quarterly close process.
• Prepare and review balance sheet and P&L schedules across multiple entities and currencies.
• Perform variance analysis and resolve discrepancies across general ledger accounts.
• Collaborate with other departments and regional finance teams for timely data collection.
• Assist in preparing monthly financial reports and supporting documentation for management and group consolidation.
• Ensure compliance with US GAAP and internal accounting policies.
• Support preparation of audit-ready financial statements and footnote disclosures.
• Coordinate and respond to external audit requests during audits.
• Prepare audit-ready workpapers with support for journal entries and reconciliations.
• Assist in drafting and reviewing financial statement disclosures (ASC 606, ASC 842, stock-based compensation).
• Support design, implementation, and documentation of internal controls over financial reporting.
• Monitor compliance with internal accounting policies across global entities.
• Partner with finance leadership on global statutory reporting requirements (IFRS to US GAAP adjustments).
• Track and resolve audit findings and recommend process improvements.
• Identify and drive continuous improvements in close timelines, reporting accuracy, and automation opportunities.
• Assist with NetSuite system enhancements, chart of accounts management, and workflow updates.
• Participate in accounting system integration and process scaling as the business grows.
• Support accounting projects related to new product launches and global expansion.
