Qualifications

• 4–7 years of experience in semiconductor sourcing, manufacturing, supply chain or related high-technology environment.
• Strong understanding of the semiconductor industry, embedded systems, and hardware/software technology ecosystems.
• Experience in strategic sourcing, supplier negotiations, cost management, and supply-risk mitigation.
• Ability to understand technical specifications, BOMs, semiconductor roadmaps, and product requirements.

Responsibilities

• Lead and execute global sourcing and commodity strategies for semiconductors that support key business objectives.
• Communicate commodity strategies across the organization, BU and NPI Operations to align sourcing decisions.
• Formulate negotiation strategy to drive cost reduction with suppliers in high/low volume environments.
• Understand architectures and interaction with embedded software, firmware, SDKs and tools when evaluating suppliers.
• Maintain total ownership of assigned semiconductor commodities, including sourcing strategy and supplier relationships.
• Lead QBRs and EBRs with suppliers and communicate with executive teams clearly.
