Bose Corporation, a leader in audio technology, seeks a Senior Semiconductor Sourcing Manager to develop global strategies for semiconductors and partner with engineering teams to ensure cost, quality, and supply continuity. The role emphasizes market knowledge of SoCs, MCUs, DSPs and software-enabled hardware. Travel up to 15% is expected.

Qualifications

7–10 years in semiconductor sourcing, manufacturing, or related high-tech environments.
Strong understanding of semiconductor industry, embedded systems, and hardware/software ecosystems.
Experience in strategic sourcing, supplier negotiations, cost management, and risk mitigation.

Responsibilities

Lead global sourcing and commodity strategies for semiconductors aligned to cost, time-to-market, and supply continuity.
Evaluate semiconductor architectures (SoCs, MCUs, DSPs) and their integration with software.
Assess suppliers on hardware, software ecosystem maturity, SDKs, APIs, tools, and long-term support.
Partner with Hardware Engineering, Embedded Software, Firmware, and Product teams to align roadmaps and platforms.
Lead supplier selection and negotiations for components, licensing, IP, and development tools.
Identify supplier risks and implement mitigation like alternate sources and capacity planning.
Drive strategic partnerships for hardware/software ecosystem differentiation and scalability.
Conduct QBRs/EBRs and present outcomes to executives; translate complex data for stakeholders.
