Job summary
Rivian's Palo Alto campus is seeking a Lead Global Supply Manager to drive strategic sourcing for semiconductor components across vehicle programs (R1–R3 and EDV). You will lead commercial relationships for complex domains, partnering with cross‑functional leadership to architect future requirements, and manage multiple large projects with significant spend.
You will optimize the sourcing process, negotiate effectively with limited legal involvement, and ensure risk prevention and cost targets
Qualifications
- End-to-end procurement lifecycle experience.
- Ability to drive commodity strategies for next-gen platforms.
- Experience with semiconductor components and cost-modeling.
Responsibilities
- Lead strategic sourcing for complex semiconductor components and manage multi-project spend.
- Own supplier relationships at Senior Management level and drive risk mitigation actions.
- Negotiate terms with limited legal involvement using creative non-monetary tradeoffs.
- Monitor and influence cross-functional teams to align with Rivian targets.
- Lead projects with autonomy and ensure on-time delivery of programs.
